Kathy Kiefer

Graduating from Southern Methodist University in 1982 with a Business Degree concentration in Real Estate, Kathy has been a Professional Residential Realtor for 38 years. As a builder’s daughter, Kathy has grown up around houses.  Voted national rookie of the year in 1982 with her previous broker, Kathy has always had a passion for helping people, which has resulted in her consistently being an award winning Top Producer at her company.  In 1997, Kathy was the first, of five agents to join and help open the Keller Williams Real Estate Office in Flower Mound. Today, the office is over 400 agents strong and consistently outperforms the competition in listing and selling residential real estate. Kathy brings to the Kiefer Team an expertise in contract negotiation; 38 years of irreplaceable “working the deal” experience and knowledge; and a caring personality that immediately helps her buyer and seller clients feel at ease and trusting. Years ago Kathy was given the nickname “The Velvet Hammer” by one of her colleagues, for her ability to get the deal done while keeping all parties feeling good about the outcome. Kathy has a patient and caring nature that she knows is imperative in this business, and she is dedicated to giving her full attention to the transaction to see that her clients are well served. Today, along with husband Kurt, they and their team have helped thousands of customers buy, sell, or invest in homes. Married to Kurt for 38 years, with three grown children, and one precious granddaughter, she understands that some of the best memories made start with owning a home!

Kurt Kiefer

Graduated from the University of Nebraska in 1982 with a degree in Business Finance, and received his Texas Real Estate license that same year. Kurt spent 17 years as a top producer in on-site sales and construction for Pierce Homes, a long time DFW custom homebuilder.   His experience included all areas of the homebuilding and selling process; including lot selection, custom plan design, job costing, construction, sales, and marketing. Kurt has helped hundreds of families design and build homes tailored to their individual needs and dreams.  Kurt’s “foundation to finish” working knowledge of a home, attention to detail, and personal customer service has added a dimension to the Kiefer Team that sets the team apart from the ordinary. Few Realtors can say they could build you a home if they can’t find you one. This knowledge and experience, is extremely beneficial during the inspection phase of a purchase or sale, as well as, consulting with clients about updating and remodeling their homes before or after the sale. Kurt is a past winner of the coveted, and prestigious Keller Williams National Cultural Winner, as he exemplifies a win-win, do the right thing attitude both in his work and personal life. Like Kathy, Kurt is faith-inspired on his daily real estate walk, and is blessed to work alongside his wife of 38 years as partners in helping families.
